Managed Mirant's US operations, responsible for government relations, business development, and coordination of the company's commercial and operations groups; identified and solved major issues facing the company as it emerged from Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings.

Acted as a principal in an advisory firm and provided consulting services to various companies, including a consortium of Japanese and British firms that purchased a multi-billion dollar Asia-Pacific business.

Served as Chief Operating Officer of EME's Asia-Pacific business, residing in Singapore and Australia. Grew EME's business from two assets in the region to one of the largest overseas US investments in the independent power business, with over $5 billion of assets and operations in Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand and Singapore.

Founded this leading US business trade association by merging two separate trade organizations focused on U.S. business interests in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN). The organization grew from a membership of 20 firms to nearly 200, becoming one of the strongest voices representing US business interests in Washington D.C. and the ASEAN.

Initiated a structured dialogue among U.S. company executives and leaders of Latin American countries on issues affecting U.S. international investment and trade. Successfully led efforts to change restrictive policies on technology transfer, international investment, trade and capital repatriation.
