Led the Energy Northwest's Legal and Compliance Services organization which included Legal Services, Nuclear Fuel, Environmental and Regulatory Programs, Ethics and Compliance, and Records and Information Management. Provided an extensive range of advice and counsel to senior management, members of the Board of Directors, Executive Board and the Participants Review Board. Twice received the Executive Board's Meritorious Service Award.

Provide a wide range of legal services and representation to AREVA in the highly regulated domestic and international nuclear industry. Served as primary counsel for labor and employment law for all AREVA companies in the United States, commercial disputes, fuel fabrication contracts with various utilities in the United States, Taiwan, Japan and other countries, nuclear engineering and related services, joint ventures, environmental permitting and compliance at various AREVA locations and enforcement and compliance actions with the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, the U.S. Department of Commerce and the U.S. Department of Transportation as various state agencies.

Lead a staff providing legal advice and representation in a variety of disciplines including litigation/litigation management, government and commercial contracts, employment law (whistleblower), ethics, state taxation, intellectual property/technology transfer, False Claims Act litigation, environmental law, and real estate leasing. As lead in-house counsel, obtained dismissal of all claims in complex radiation, toxic tort and environmental damage multi -plaintiff action in Federal District Court (In re Hanford Nuclear Reservation Litigation) and successfully defended or used ADR techniques to resolve subcontract claims, tax, tort and employment law (whistleblower) cases in various forums including the U.S. Supreme Court.
