During this time, I was a team member of a SWAT type Emergency Response Team, for 5 years. I have had special training in, and at one time proficient in, weapons, tactics and rescue operations.I have owned, operated and managed various types of businesses with numerous and varied employees. I also wrote a semi monthly magazine article dealing with fitness and health issues, directly related to police officers and their unhealthy life styles. These articles were published in a nationally circulated police association magazine.I was elected, twice, by my peers as President of the District Police Officers Association.
