Directly responsible for the successful performance of six branch offices. Involved in all hiring and personnel related matters for the region. Collaborated with lenders, BDO’s and other strategic partners to develop sales strategies for the branch teams. Inspected each branch office twice a year to ensure adherence with bank policies and regulatory compliance. Worked with the Retail team to establish bank policies and procedures, as well as all annual goals and then monitor/track performance, coaching for better results, when applicable. Support branch teams in their community involvement, leading by example. Through mystery shops and call back surveys, monitor and coach staff to execute the Bank’s Sales and Service process. Mentored two management trainees. Participate in senior management meetings.

Coordinate efforts of start-up branch (2 years). At management’s request, transferred to the former Main Office of an acquired institution (The Bank of Alexandria) with no Assistant Manager or CSR on board, to help convert the branch to F & M and try to stabilize the unrest among the staff and client base, from the merger (3 years). Hire, train, coach and motivate staff. Create a presence in the community through active involvement in the Chamber and networking groups. Promote and develop business while establishing a culture of superior customer service among the staff.

Support business development goals by selling bank products and services utilizing the telephone and other direct marketing techniques.
