Test Director on the Maritime Integrated Air and Missile Defense Planning System (MIPS) program responsible for all system test activities. Develop test plans and procedures, test reports, test schedules and execute test procedures. Interface with customer on test related matters. Maintain and update requirements database as required.

Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) Training Cross Product Team (CPT) Lead, and was responsible for all aspects to LCS training. This included, planning, scheduling, development of all courseware, future training opportunities, proposal development and cost account management for Pre-commissioning Training, Interim Support Plan Training and Follow On Training.

R & D of the UADS10 unattended sensor system. Requested by name to transfer to this program by the government sponsor, due to acoustic analysis and electronics capabilities required by the program. At the request of the government sponsor, acted as the central point of contact coordinating all aspects of software, hardware, testing, data analysis, training and development of the concept of operations, as well as interfacing with all involved organizations, subcontractors and vendors.

Responsible for all aspects of Advanced Rapid COTS Insertion IUSS (ARCI(I)) operations, maintenance and training and was on call 24/7 at Naval Ocean Processing Facility Dam Neck, Virginia. Over 30 years of experience in IUSS operations and maintenance primarily focused on SURTASS. Involved in system development since the early days of SURTASS. Provided testing and assessment of system performance and had direct input for improvements and enhancements to SPAWAR. Frequently utilized by the government to act as an observer of software testing at other contractor facilities, and to recommend whether or not the software should be installed out in the fleet.

Acted as the Site Support Coordinator for all IUSS sites overseeing the site reps day to day activities. Additionally assigned all SURTASS training activities in both operations and maintenance, developed curriculum, conducted classes and assisted in maintaining the SURTASS Ship Training Facility (SSTF) lab. Also filled in for the government site rep on an as needed basis.

Experience included the development and conduct of the original SURTASS Shore Operations and Maintenance Courses taught to U.S. and Foreign Naval officer and enlisted personnel and maintained the SURTASS Shore System lab. Headed up the curriculum development and conduct of an 18 week Advanced Acoustic Analysis course. Familiar with all aspects of LOFARGRAM analysis, SURTASS operations, maintenance and employment techniques. Recognized within the IUSS community as the SURTASS "guru" in both system operations and maintenance, Frequently requested by name by foreign and domestic sites via SPAWAR to conduct training for their site personnel. Developed test plans, technical documentation and CONOPS plans for the system. And was the company site rep at NOPF Dam Neck from 1994 to 1999, while supervising the site reps at the other IUSS facilities. Responsible for ensuring the system was online and functional 24/7, and was the direct company interface with the customer. Developed and performed the oral presentation for the shore support portion of Operations & Maintenance contract proposal to SPAWAR.

Developed courseware and conducted training in Analog and Digital theory, ASW Operations, Computer system and Electronic Equipment Maintenance.

Performed on watch acoustic analysis as a watch coordinator at various IUSS sites worldwide. Computer work center supervisor in Adak, Alaska where all computer system maintenance was performed. Final tour in the Navy as an instructor teaching analog and digital electronics theory, developed and taught the curriculum, and maintained the Analog and Digital labs. Lectured at numerous ASW courses, presenting IUSS overviews for military and civilian personnel and was designated as a Master Training Specialist (MTS).
