Includes development and execution of asset strategies, leasing strategies, asset repositionings including direct supervision of capex planning and execution of improvements, valuations, business plan development and review, investment restructurings/bankruptcies, portfolio reviews, risk compliance reporting, credit committee participation, and developing and implementing new procedures for compliance with Fed requirements. Team has repositioned/restructured/resolved $8B of investments generating $550MM of income.

Responsible for asset mgmt Institutional Portfolio of up to $10B portfolio of real estate investments in US and Canada. Supervision of up to 20 asset managers throughout the US. Includes development and execution of asset strategies, customer/partner relations and retentions, leasing strategies, asset repositionings, valuations, business plan development and review, portfolio reviews, risk compliance reporting, credit committee participation, and developing and implementing productivity and best practice initiatives.

Responsible for asset management and restructuring of $450MM investment with Montgomery Wards. Structured and closed $400MM JV with public REIT which resolved the Montgomery Wards bankruptcy within 90 days of initial filing and resulted in a full recovery of a $450MM real estate investment, generating $55MM of income to GECC.

Responsible for asset mgt of $3B private syndication loan portfolio. Includes supervision of 5 asset managers throughout the country, evaluation and supervision of asset business plan execution, managing borrower relationships, managing investor relations, establishing policies and procedures, portfolio reviews and risk compliance reporting.

Responsible for managing a regional portfolio of multi-family, office, industrial and retail investments totaling 5,000 units and 2.5MM sf. This includes business plan development, leasing, valuations, development, capex and execution, and asset repositioning. Negotiated and closed in excess of 1,000,000sf of leases and $600MM of property sales generating $150MM of income.

Consolidated Asset Recovery Corp. division which serviced failed bank assets for the FDIC. Responsible for developing and implementing business plans for a portfolio of multi-family, commercial, development and land properties. Plans include all aspects of managing and marketing the properties including repositioning the assets in order to maximize value.

Responsible for coordinating management, leasing, re-financings and renovations of approximately 3,000 residential units and 250,000 sqft of retail and commercial property for private investors, limited partnerships, government agencies and financial institutions. Job also entailed financial and physical analyses of properties for acquisition, creation of redevelopment plans, negotiating loan terms and various consulting engagements including feasibility analyses and appraisals. In addition, responsible for managing operations and new business development for start up property management company. This included developing systems, procedures and operating all properties personally until growth justified employee hiring. Ultimately ended with supervision of a staff totaling 15.

Responsible for coordinating and supervising projects relating to the Worldwide Convertible Bond and International Equity and Derivative Products business units. This included developing analytical reports to determine profitability of individual product lines. Also, included development of supporting systems to track the volume of business in each product line and the associated costs to be utilized to reallocate capital and manpower to the most profitable products and revise strategies of unprofitable products.
