Maintain cross functional oversight for a product development program that delivered major platform upgrades to two commercial mowing product lines. This program was a multi-million dollar R&D project to develop and validate products with EPA Tier IV compliant engines to replace older models in our portfolio.•Responsible for delivering all aspects of the “team contract” which include ROI, level and timing of investments, product cost, product quality, program schedule and compliance to customer requirements.•Prepare and present monthly report outs to program stakeholders showing program health and risk areas with mitigation plans.•Manage the team through the steps of a toll gate product development process. This includes verification of deliverables through the phases of define, develop, demonstrate, and implement. Responsible for communication between functions in order to execute on every phase of the program.

Responsible for managing the day-to-day planning and execution of all lab testing activities in support of new product development on utility vehicles, golf course and commercial mowing equipment, and consumer lawn tractors. Also, undertook a significant project to close JD Southeast Engineering Center and move testing operations to new facilities at this site.•Supervise a staff of seventeen engineers, technicians, and support personnel that provide all of the prototype and testing support for our factory.•Managed all ramp down tasks for closure of testing facility located in Charlotte including temporary outsourcing of testing, disassembly and shipment of equipment, and termination of contracts and leases associated with on-site activities.•Performed oversight on a $2.5M construction project to consolidate the Charlotte operations into this facility in Fuquay-Varina. Had responsibility for planning equipment layouts, executing mechanical and electrical installations, calibrating and recommissioning machinery and fixtures, and restaffing of ten engineering and technician positions.
