I was a member of the Councils ICT Senior Leadership Team which had responsibilities to deliver ICT service to the Council, Schools and the external customer base (over 40,000 users). I was responsible for the management and delivery of front-line support services, which included the ITIL Service Desk Operations, support of live systems and associated KPI’s, change management, ICT replacement program, risk management and business continuity plans. My remit also included the provision of commercial ICT services to the school estate (over 400 schools), providing 25 various service level agreements, ranging from on-site engineers, equipment repair, Office 365, MIS, to 3rd line systems and infrastructure support and the provision of non-SLA commercial services. In addition, I was responsible for the business strategy, sales and marketing functions, and to lead the team in maintaining and growing the business. The team size was 120 FTE.
