Overseeing geological operations of horizontal oil wells targeting the Bakken formation, and prospecting additional exploration opportunities in SE Saskatchewan.

Bolstered technical expertise for projects in the Wainwright team. Mapped and developed vertical drill locations in the Marsden Sparky pool. Laid groundwork to develope resource-type plays within Penn West's lands. This involved investigating the extent and reservoir potential of the Bakken / Torquay play along the Saskatchewan - Manitoba border. Initiated.

Developed the Mississippian carbonate pools in southeast Saskatchewan through infill and stepout drilling programs. Planned, drilled and cored two additional vertical wells to further evaluate the Fertile Bakken / Torquay pool.Successfully drilled two new small seismic targets within the Queensdale pool. Assisted 3-D seismic interpretation to drill.

Created detailed mapping and initiated development well proposals within the SE Saskatchewan Mississippian pools, and within the Fertile Bakken / Torquay pool. Primarily, these were proven undeveloped horizontal locations identified in the acquired Nexen and APF properties. Directed geological operations as these wells were drilled, with an approximate 90%.

Provided wellsite geological expertise on approximately 200 exploration and development wells, primarily in southeast Saskatchewan, additionally in central and northwest Alberta.Supervised geological field operations on horizontal and vertical projects targeting Mississippian oil reservoirs in southeast Saskatchewan, and occasional wildcat and outpost.
