Appraisal Review Analyst Iii
Served as a Member of the Collateral Review Group with a focus on management of the real estate valuation function and risk exposure of residential real estate collateral.• Assignment of appraisal orders associated with appraisal management companies and approved bank clients keeping business-critical timelines at acceptable levels for the bank’s stakeholders.• Resolves valuation differences/discrepancies between Appraisers and Loan Production staff while maintaining compliance of Appraiser Independence Laws and Policy. • Prepares Reviews on complex residential properties. Assist Lenders and Loan operations throughout the bank’s footprint and act as a resource for real estate valuation concerns/questions. Acted as a mentor to other personnel in the Appraisal Services Department.• Assist the Director of Appraisal Services with maintenance and quality control of the Bank’s Approved Appraiser list so only the most competent appraisers were selected to perform appraisal assignments.• Ensures receipt of regulatory-compliant appraisals and evaluations that are in compliance with corporate policy and standards, Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) and secondary market guidelines ensuring there were no buybacks affecting the banks bottom line. • Headed up a special project to select appraisers directly without involvement of an appraisal management company in order to reduce turn time for quicker decision making.
