My current activities are centred on writing, teaching and a variety of strategic support roles (facilitation, mediation, mentoring) founded on strategic thinking and leadership. My approach is holistic (mind, heart, body and spirit). I completed my PhD (working with environmental organizations) in December 2020 and I am currently working with environmental organizations on a number of specific projects in addition to support roles (Director level).I am the author of three books on strategic thinking (learning how to see the big picture and tapping into our full creative potential) and a primer on strategy. I am passionate about the natural world and protecting it for future generations, focusing on how to develop holistic strategies for the future. I am currently working on a new book (a collective project) which I will unveil soon!My background is in management consulting, corporate finance, economics and accounting including working for two blue chip corporate companies and two global consulting firms. I find this helpful to combine 'hard' and 'soft' (human) elements together in my work. However, I believe strongly that a cognitive/analytical approach is not sufficient in its own right to overcome the challenges we now face. We need to acknowledge our deeper humanity including the creative, relational, inuitive and spiritual aspects of who we are.Specialties: Strategic thinking and leadership, the natural world/environment, writing, teaching, facilitation, mediation and mentoring.
