As Transit Practice Leader for Fehr & Peers, he has led transit planning & implementation efforts including evaluation of high-speed rail, commuter rail, light rail, streetcar, bus rapid transit, and shuttle modes. He has managed station area planning efforts including land use assessments, ridership forecasts, bus terminal layouts, bicycle and pedestrian access, vehicle (bus, park-and-ride) access, and related complete street improvements.Bob is currently managing the High Capacity Transit Corridors Study for Santa Clara VTA, is the transportation lead for the San Francisco-San Jose High Speed Rail Segment EIR-EIS team, and is managing the 22nd St Station Study in Southeast San Francisco. He managed the Broadway Corridor Transit Study in Oakland, the Santa Cruz Passenger Rail Feasibility Study, and the Yosemit National Park to Fresno Shuttle Study. He led preparation of the Transportation Management Plan for the Chase Center in San Francisco, home of the Golden State Warriors. Bob served as principal-in-charge of the Sound Transit South King County HCT Study in advance of the ST3 measure, the UTA First/Last Mile Strategy Program, and the Caltrain Electrification EIR.
