Bob built DTM Products from a small local, Colorado based plastics processing company into a leading engineering and manufacturing provider of precision plastic components with customers from Singapore to Germany supported by manufacturing operations in Colorado and Mexico. DTM spun off two additional companies from its operations in the mid- 1990’s, AIM Interactive, a provider of CD based interactive training and assessment programs for the plastics industry; and Peak Industries, a contract manufacturer based in Fredrick, Colorado. Flextronics acquired DTM Products in 1997. Delphi Automotive acquired Peak Industries in 2004. Prior to being acquired by Flextronics DTM Products employed more than 250 people in Colorado and 600 in Mexico and Peak Industries employed about 200 people in Colorado. Under Bob’s leadership, DTM Products became a global leader in precision plastic components and sub-assemblies, recognized for technological leadership, innovation in employee development systems, innovation in quality management and in product development. Recognition came from The Blue Chip Enterprise Initiative, The University of Colorado Graduate School of Business, Inc Magazine, Hewlett Packard and Apple Computer, and the ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ program where he was a finalist in 1995.

Bob merged DTM Products with Flextronic International, overseeing plastic components and sub-assemblies in North America, Europe and Asia.
