I design software systems that support scientists and researchers as well as medical doctors, clinical researchers and clinicians do what is needed to expedite human organ transplants in the safest most effective ways. I really enjoy working in a field where my efforts help make things better.

Over the last ten years, I have been responsible for the development of software applications used for interpreting results of tests using assays and instruments common in the HLA / Transplant field. I have also designed and implemented QC and manufacturing software for various Luminex bead products.Specifically, I am or have been Software Architect, Lead Software Developer and Product Owner for various HLA Typing, HLA Antibody, and Post Transplant Monitoring software applications. This has involved all aspects of bioinformatics, algorithm design, instrument control, user interface, database, deployment & documentation. All the time we followed good engineering practices from design through implementation & testing which resulted in software approved for In Vitro Diagnostic purposes as well as for Research Use Only.This was done to produce a high quality product while complying with applicable FDA regulations and Company operating procedures, processes, policies, and tasks.Technical Environment: VS2012, C# 5.0 and the .NET 4.5 Framework, SQL 2008 R2, ASP MVC4, WPF, WCF, WF, AppFabric/Azure, Entity 5.0 CodeFirst DbContext, Unity MEF, MVVM, LINQ, RX IOservable, TDD and more.
