Bob Hellman Email and Phone Number
CEO and Managing Director of the American Infrastructure Partners (AIP). In 2006, I co-founded AIP’s predecessor company, American Infrastructure Funds (AIM). I collaborate with communities, municipalities, and cities to provide immediate access to essential services, actively investing in education, post office logistics, transportation, and rural broadband to address local infrastructure needs. I founded United Bridge Partners – innovative capital and solution provider to replacement bridges; American Postal Infrastructure – value-add enhancer to modernize and revitalize postal facilities; Local2U – supplier of wireless internet service provider (WISP) to rural communities across America. For over 35 years, I have served as a CEO, board member and advisor, and director in a wide variety of industries including building materials, forest products, energy production and distribution, printing and office supplies, death care, health and fitness, and consumer products and services. Before founding AIM and AIP, I was a managing director of McCown De Leeuw, a middle-market private equity firm. I gained significant experience in mergers, acquisitions, and business strategy at Bain, focusing on expansion strategies, cost reduction and acquisition analysis. I was a Member of the Advisory Board of The Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research, a Past President of the DAPER Investment Fund at Stanford, and a past board member of the Stanford Alumni Association. Additionally, I have volunteered for several educational and youth organizations.
