The name was later changed to High-Tech Only, with the addition of high-tech items such as PDAs and games. A small arcade featuring popular games was also incorporated. High-Tech Only became the first company to rent video games in the United States, years ahead of Blockbuster and GameStop. In 1991, I introduced the first Virtual Reality Game System at the Big Boys Toy Show, where attendees lined up 100 deep to play the game "Pterodactyl Nightmare!" in Virtual Reality. Following the show, the system was brought to our High-Tech Only store at the Flower Hill Mall, where tickets were sold for months to play. I expanded the business by opening two more High-Tech Only stores, one in Del Mar Heights and another in North County Fair.

Over the years, I acquired all of Cycledata, and it became the parent company to several companies I founded and ran: - Financial Database Corporation, - High Tech Only (3 locations), - Hertz Travel (2 locations), and Medical Database Corporation. Cycledata owned Financial Database Systems and developed CAESAR(R), the Fully Disclosed Broker/Dealer automation, which was licensed to many Fortune 100 and Fortune 50 insurance-owned and bank-owned Brokerages. FDS /FDBS operated in San Diego until acquired by Broadridge BR:NYSE
