After a 30 year career ending as a Supervisor of Parks Operations with the City of Toronto I have decided to change life course. Today, as a person in recovery, I am dedicating my time in helping others struggling with addiction. I am actively continuing my education in the helping profession and am certified through the Academy of Applied Modern Psychology as a Life Coach, C.B.T. and N.L.P practitioner. I am also a Certified Canadian Recovery Coach with Canadian Addiction Counsellors Certification Federation and have been certified as a Recovery Coach Professional (RCP) and RCPF (Facilitator) with CCAR.I have transitioned from a professional Recovery Coach at GreeneStone center for Recovery and am now the proud owner/founder of Free To Be Me Recovery Coaching. www.freetobemerecovery.comAs Recovery Coach, I use my knowledge, personal experience, and transferable skills to help clients create achievable goals and move from the bondage of addiction to freedom and a meaningful, purposeful life.As a facilitator my goal is to help train Recovery Coaches to become the best they can be. As a Mentor Coach, I help Recovery Coaches hone their skills and refine their art.I am honoured to be on the Board of Directors for Recovery Coaches of Canada (RCC) and sit on the credentialing committee. As Board member, I work with a team of dedicated professional Recovery Coaches and help bring credibility to the Recovery Coaching profession and help place Recovery Coaches in the areas they are needed most.
