The Design was comprised of 4 injected molded parts and the utilization of a penlight for the light source at a cost of about $2 each. This Otoscope had the same magnification and candlepower at focal point as a $300 Welch Allen Otoscope. The Otoscope was utilized by lay persons, doctors, nurses and general hospital staff for a fraction of the cost of comparable Otoscopes. Repositioned Medical Energy as a leader in the surgical laser industry. This was achieved by redesigning their existing laser from the size of a washing machine to the size of a small two-drawer file cabinet. The redesign was the smallest user friendly laser on the market and gave Medical Energy a unique product perception as well as reducing the production cost. DIVOSTA HOMES, INC. – DIRECTOR OF DESIGN 1992 to 2007 I was commissioned by DiVosta Homes to rebuild the companies signage programs and corporate branding, with in a year became the full time Director of Design responsible for all signage, land planning, community entrance features, architecture, interior design and amenities. While working with DiVosta Homes I was responsible for the creation of 20 or more 2000 unit PUD’s. Hundreds of infill projects and over 50,000 homes. Additionally the residential land planning for the first Florida East coast 2500 acre New Urbanism P.U.D. and over 1,000,000 square feet of commercial and social space.
PANEX CORPORATION / AQUATIC FITNESS PRODUCTS 1985 to 1994While managing Creative Works Inc. I was responsible for co-founding Panex Corporation in 1987 a Home Health Care product company and in 1989 an Aquatic Fitness Product Company. I was the Managing Partner responsible for product designs; sales and marketing, branding and positioning, Just days after the Panex product was publicly announced the company was offered an exclusive $14,000,000 distribution agreement to the medical market. Panex products were sold internationally through trade shows and independent Rep's. They were also sold to consummers on the QVC TV show and through catalogs as well as Children’s Stores and Independent Pharmacies. Aquatic Fitness Products exercise equipment was sold to the parent company for the Nordic Tract a publicly traded national fitness products company.

The firm specialized in signage programs, product designs, interior design, trade show booth design, corporate identities, land planning, packaging and collateral design. I was also responsible for the sales, overall creative direction of the firm as well as coordination and supervision of all Creative Works design teams.
