ROBERT KAPLAN is an Associate Principal within the Answerthink organization. KAPLAN’s strength is implementation and management of enterprise systems in order to achieve business value such as lower costs, reduced cycle time and increased profitability. He knows how to successfully envision solutions and has the managerial talent, client focus, hands-on skills and discipline to make the vision a reality. KAPLAN has over 20 years of SAP experience, including team and project management. He is skilled in IT-enabled business process improvement, including both technical as well as organizational change management aspects. In addition to managerial skills, KAPLAN has extensive hands-on experience with business requirement definition, process design, systems analysis, blueprinting, configuration, working with programmers on enhancements, testing (unit, integration and user acceptance), documentation and training. KAPLAN has a proven track record of successful enterprise systems implementations. From 2001 to late 2007, he project managed MIT Lincoln Laboratory’s extensive SAP implementation, which included not only R/3, but also SRM, and BW. Prior to that KAPLAN managed 4 full cycle SAP implementations for ASTeX (MKS Instruments) as well as an ISO 9001 and Lotus Notes implementation. KAPLAN has experience in a wide variety of industries, including high-tech manufacturing, public sector R&D, and technical publishing.
