Berkshire Portable Appliance Testing (BPAT) has been set up to provide a straightforward testing service for all portable electrical items. We can come to your address at a time that suits you and we do not charge extra for evening and weekend work. We are based in Reading and we cover the whole of Berkshire as well as north Hampshire, south Oxfordshire, west Wiltshire and east to the M25.When we test your electrical appliances and cables, each item receives a test sticker with an appliance number showing that it has been tested as safe. We will provide you with a printed or electronic spreadsheet listing all items tested, as well as a copy of our City And Guild qualification certificate and a copy of the up-to-date calibration certificate for our test equipment.If an electrical appliance or cable fails its test, we can offer no-obligation advice about repairing or replacing the item.
