As a native Washingtonian and son of a Government Contracts litigation attorney, my whole life has revolved around aerospace, defense and government contracting, negotiation and strategy. The first part of my career was spent in management and strategy consulting which provided a great foundation for a career advising entrepreneurial clients.I have spent the last 20 plus years tracking defense and GovCon market trends along with debt and capital market performance and identifying behaviors, decisions and initiatives which create high performance and value for Aerospace/Defense and Technology firms.As an investment banker and transaction advisor, I have the unique job of helping clients understand what strategic transaction best fits their specific ownership, operating and transaction goals and objectives.Whether the end result is a sale to a corporate/strategic buyer, a recapitalization with a private equity group, an ESOP or management buyout, we advise on what is often the most important business decision of our client’s career—it is so gratifying!Over the years, I have had the opportunity to work with some great Intel, DoD, SOF and Health IT companies, as well as many great CEOs and advise on some of the industry’s most noteworthy transactions.Many of our deals have been selected as “Top Deals of the Year” or received acclaim.
