The J2EE applications runs under WebLogic and captures all birth related information in New York state hospitals. The application then can generate dynamically a PDF based birth certificate and PDF reports. In addition, the application provides various reports and exports to Social Security Administration, NYS Medicaid, and the federal government. The application also allows back-end access to birth information by the NYS Vital Records department.Design of SPDS application was performed under the RUP methodology. Responsible for creating multiple artifacts in the process via UML (i.e. Use Cases, Class Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams, etc.) later used at templates for other corporate projects.Designed a J2EE MVC framework for application development as based on a trimmed down “Struts” framework. Provide mentoring and training to the project’s software engineers. Responsible for providing technical response of RFPs.Managed 8 software engineers for the Birth Certificate, VacMan (Vaccine Mangement) and NICU systems.

Participated in the redesign of the internet ticketing system for www.tickets.com.Involved in high level design of systems in UML via Rational Rose, and the implementation of the designs into Java code and EJBs to run under a cluster of application servers. Providing additional technical assistance in the redesign of multiple databases (SQL Server, Orcale, Sybase) into one Oracle database.Designed and developed the TicketsLive website (www.ticketslive.com), the Internet’s first live ticketing system.
