I am resigning my current position as of 12-09-2022 and relocating to Englewood Florida. I will be available to start early to mid-January 2023.

Responsible for all production Fin dies to insure all are in proper working order for production needs.

Overseeing 26 hourly associates over 3 shifts. Responsible for scheduling hours needed to meet production needs. Insuring tools are clean and coated for production. Ordering stock items for dies and needs of Tool Room and Die Prep associates to complete their daily assigned tasks. Writing daily downtime reports for problems. Recording daily time sheets. Enforcing rules and regulations per OSHA, safety, and company policies

Responsibilities include designing dies, building single hit blanking dies, compound tools, heat treating of tooling components, mentoring students in tool making, troubleshooting problem dies.

• Responsible for daily activities in running Tool Room, including delegation of work, meeting production time lines, arranging all subcontracted work and ordering all materials and supplies needed for Tool Room operations. • Everyday responsibilities include shop floor problem solving, customer relations for technical issues and concerns, quoting, estimating, team member for CAR's and ICAR's. • Use of CADKEY to engineer progressive die and Four Slide tooling from part prints to customer specifications. • Project manager overseeing all aspects of new progressive and Four Slide tooling including in part: design, manufacturing and troubleshooting. Creating gantt charts and PM schedule for all new tool design along with concept reviews (with customer when requested) including BOM's. • Member on FMEA, PFMEA, Vista Traveler method, and control plan teams. • Tool & die making including machining, hardening, grinding and assembly of progressive dies and four-slide dies and tooling. • QS9000 internal auditor. • Safety Committee member

Responsible for toolmaking, welding and electrical maintenance of all in-house pieces including in part: Fleximasters, framemasters, glass acrylic framing tools, glasscutters (wall-mounted machines), mat cutters, Federal, Perkins and KENCO presses. • Responsible for building from scratch Autohoners, which grind the apex of a steel or carbide wheel to different angles per user specifications.
