Led the definition activities for seven generations of NAND flash memory products resulting in a $9B business at Micron. Responsible for driving the alignment between engineering and the business units on device specifications. Represent engineering on corporate cross-functional teams to develop and institute new product life cycle processes that are more effective and efficient, Drove NAND Roadmap portfolio optimization as well as coordinated engineering schedules to support the corporate roadmap change process.

Wrote the initial business plan for Micron’s NAND business and led marketing team that won a significant share of the global multi-billion-dollar memory market. Provided marketing and product management support into all segments including SSDs, mobile, automotive and IoT, as well as the NAND Eco-System. Drove Micron’s strategy and held board positions in key industry organizations including eMMC, UFS, and ONFI.

Drove innovation and product definition for new mobile solid-state storage products including USB drives, USB-enabled Compact flash, SD, and MMC. Defined and successfully launched the world’s first solid-sate flash-based removable USB storage products.

Led teams to define and manage communication product roadmaps for MODEMS and TDMA cell phones

Led SanDisk’s tactical and strategic marketing efforts which helped drive a successful public offering for the company. Introduced the world’s first mobile, removable card, solid-state storage system. Responsibilities included OEM customer engagements, product definition, applications engineering, eco-system strategy including industry standards organizations.
