I am currently the Senior Vice President of the fire protection engineering department, a principal, and Member of the CEI Board of Directors. Bob also leads the Consultant College for leadership development at Coffman Engineers.As the leading principal for the fire protection engineering department, I have grown the company’s fire protection engineering capabilities on a national and global scale, including bringing key fire protection professionals to Coffman, as well as mergers and acquisitions with notable fire protection companies. .I have been able to leverage my contacts and networks to grow Coffman Engineers from 5 offices and 230 personnel to 20 offices and over 800 personnel since joining in 2014.Professional Organizations• National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) - I has been instrumental in the development and served on technical committees for NFPA standards, such as NFPA 72 “National Fire Alarm and Signaling Code” and NFPA 750 – “Standard on Water Mist Fire Protection Systems”. • International Society of Fire Protection Engineers, Fellow, National Board of Directors, President Elect, currently serving on the International Board of Directors (since 2016) and is President Elect and will be President for 2024.• University of Maryland – Department of Fire Protection Engineering, Board of Visitors - I been active at the University of Maryland, both teaching and mentoring students as well as serving on the Curriculum Advisory Board and the Board of Visitors, from 2008 to 2023.Awardso University of Maryland A.
