Managed a global HR/Recruiting organization of over 150 individuals for a public company with 3,000 employees. - Responsible for creating the emergency response plan during the pandemic including the office closure and reopening procedures for 26+ offices worldwide. - Created a hybrid workforce plan, and partnered with the executive team to accommodate the increasing need and desire to return to the office. - Created and successfully rolled out numerous programs focused on moral and culture including the worldwide “Unplug” program which focused on employee mental health. - Closely worked with the CEO to successfully take the company private through a Private Equity acquisition.

Hortonworks is focused on accelerating the development and adoption of Apache Hadoop. Together with the Apache community, we are making Hadoop more robust and easier to use for enterprises and more open and extensible for solution providers. We also provide expert support and training.Responsible for all things HR and Recruiting. Grew the company from 30 to over 1400 employees, including a successful IPO in 2014, and led the integration efforts when we merged with another public company, Cloudera. VMWare acquired SpringSource. Responsible for Global Training and Enablement for the vFabric Division. Managed the creation and delivery of training services to customers on a global scale. Worked closely with the field team to understand customer needs and wrote SOW's to ensure those needs were met.

Responsible for the Professional Services business unit in North America, which included both consulting and training services. Worked closely with the field team to understand the customer's specific needs and created SOW's to meet those needs. Managed resources and delivery of services in a timely manner.

JBoss was purchased by Red Hat. I moved into a customer facing role and was responsible for scoping and managing the delivery of all consulting and training services for the JBoss division of Red Hat.

Was brought into JBoss to review and analyze the back office, HR and Recruiting operations. We were bought by Red Hat in June 2006 and I was moved into a Sales Ops, then a Service Delivery role.
