After retiring from Construction, taught for the Gulf Coast Safety Council for six years. I have been Widowed for ten years, after married to the same woman for forty years, and in 2007 lost her after a five year fight with Ovarian Cancer. Traveled all over the U.S. teaching safety, and working as a safety manager for large construction projects. Worked with many different Companies, including Flour, Daniels, Kellogg, B.E. & K. plus others. Completed one over seas project in the West Indies, on the island of Trinidad for 30 months. This Projected peaked with over 3,200 employees and two Safety Persons where trained to take my place following completion of the Project. This Project was with M. W. Kellogg, and built for the Trinidadian Government and AMOCO. It was a grass roots project, with two twenty-one hundred ton per day ammonia units. All other work experience has been in the U.S. with the last 14 years, at two different DuPont facilities, one in La Place, La. and the other an Acid Plant at Burnside, La.
