Robert Meese, Design Prophet, assists clients by applying the engineering principles of Lean Design™, and the Quality Report Card™ to achieve profitable product designs for their customers. An experienced engineer and manager with more than 30 years in manufacturing and development. Bob has a diverse background in manufacturing and engineering and since joining the firm in 1995 he has assisted clients in the aerospace, defense, automotive, heavy equipment, medical device, environmental control and laser industries.Before joining Munro & Associates in 1995, Bob worked for 17 years with IVAC Corporation -- a California-based medical equipment manufacturer. (Now Cardinal Health) He held various positions within the company, including principal manufacturing engineer, product development manager, pilot production manager, program manager, manufacturing engineering manager and supervisor.During the course of several programs, Bob became a champion of DFA and DFM. He trained engineers and institutionalized a concurrent development culture. His involvement in DFA efforts on IVAC products resulted in dramatic savings.Bobs strength is his passion and the ability to teach others the concurrent engineering process. He is an engineer, program manager, and facilitator as well as an instructor in Lean Design™ and the Quality Report Card.Bob is a past president for the San Diego Chapter of the Society of Concurrent Product Development. He is a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers and the Society of Plastics Engineers.A NASCAR enthusiast and stock car driver, he is past president of Racers Against Drugs of Southern California, a non-profit corporation promoting drug-free lifestyles for the youth in the community.
