As the President & CEO of LaSalle Solutions, my job is to continually serve two important groups—the customers who seek safe haven in an often predatory leasing world and the LaSalle team members who dedicate their efforts to caring for our customers. Some CEOs may prefer the sanctuary of a corner office. However, what energizes me most is meeting with and providing innovative solutions to help customers. After leasing two $200K forklifts, one of our clients permanently outfitted the units with attachments that accidentally rendered them unusable. Sensing they were too embarrassed to say anything, Bob and I proactively addressed the issue. In a move that left vendors and banks astonished, we developed a plan to take the units back early, reconfigure and sell them, and share the profits to help offset the customer’s remaining lease payments.”What I love about business goes deeper than helping companies out of challenging situations.
