This role was developed in 2004 when Accenture created a separate Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) division. Since then it has existed in various forms in line withhow the organisation has changed over the years, most recently also covering the Infrastructure Services (IS) division. Immediately prior to moving into my current role in 2004 I was part of Accenture Internal Finance for 5 years, specifically this was as the Finance Manager for the Aberdeen Delivery Centre which , at the time, was delivering services to 6 Oil Industry Clients. Reporting lines were to the local Centre Management Team and also to the wider Accenture UKI Business in respect of financial reporting and forecasting.From the point of being oustourced in 1991 until 1999 my roles were client-facing initially and latterly in Aberdeen (Oil Industry) either side of a secondment to London where the clients were from Financial Services and ManufacturingImmediately after being outsourced I continued performing the same role of Logistics Accountant for BP before taking on the Accountant role for Forties Field. Other experience with Oil Clients included Client Service Manager on the Talisman Energy Account when it first became a client of Accenture and leading the Data Conversion Project for the BP/Amoco merger
