Licensed as a Professional Engineer, Professional Traffic Operations Engineer, and a Certified Municipal Engineer, I have more than 35 years of experience in the design of roadways, site improvements for public and commercial building structures, subdivisions, parks, and park and rides. This work includes new road construction, major renovation of existing roadways, design of grading and drainage, geotechnical subsurface investigations and foundation support system design, utility relocations, maintenance and protection of traffic plans, traffic impact studies, forensic traffic accident reconstruction and expert testimony, roadway/site illumination, and soil erosion and sediment control measures. I have managed design projects for both public and private entities including NYCDOT, NJDOT, NYSDOT, NJTA, PANYNJ, five New Jersey Counties, Amtrak, New Jersey Transit, Metro-North Railroad and the Long Island Railroad, Kean University, New Jersey Building Authority, CUNY, SUNY, NJSCC, Hovnanian Enterprises, and Toll Brothers. With respect to site development, I have gained extensive management experience in leading site design teams of numerous disciplines consisting of both internal staff and subconsultants. I also have significant experience in dealing with general contractors and the various trades on site development construction sites I have qualified as an Expert Civil Engineer and/or Traffic Engineer for the Planning and/or Zoning Boards in over 40 Municipalities within the State of New Jersey. This diverse expertise provides me with the ability to transition between transportation and site development projects as work load dictates.In addition to the engineering expertise cited above, I have also been the technical lead in the preparation of proposals and marketing material to agencies/clients for transportation and site development projects. This included both technical and cost proposals as well as the preparation of presentations when shortlisted.
