QG Partnership, llc primary responsibilities included life cycle design and implementation of web based products based on client needs and expectations in a hand’s on fashion. I was the primary point of contact, as well as the lead programmer in each project; beginning with it’s initial concept, and pseudo coding, through to it’s coding, testing, and, ultimately, deployment. In addition to client applications and development, QG Partnership, llc, maintains a network of over 200 sites for which I was personally responsible for ongoing development. Prior to when I began working on this project, the goal was to generate a network of community sites which were nearly carbon copies of the original site developed in open source technologies. Through careful design and planning, coupled with a thorough knowledge of the LAMP environment, I was able to unify the sites architecture into an intelligent, cohesive and comprehensive “template”-like system. This project, still ongoing, involves Linux shell scripting, intensive Apache configuration knowledge, a partial rebuild of PHP and in depth MySQL functionality to create a seamless user experience, as well as a level of maintainability unprecedented in projects of it’s scope.

Kanter International is a management consulting and marketing services/branding company. My primary responsibilities consisted of consulting to clients to determine the expectations, needs, and technologies to be implemented during each project, as well as managing staff resources. This consisted of retrofitting websites for legacy clients that had developed websites in classic ASP and Flash, as well as totally new development. Many of these clients had requested to migrate from their existing architecture into newer, web-based technologies, such as PHP/MySQL, ColdFusion/SQL, and XML data driven Flash. For some clients, we created marketing CD-ROMS using Active Director. My secondary responsibilities were maintaining the office’s infrastructure, consisting of 3 Windows IIS servers, an Exchange server and a LAMP development server. This included daily backups, user maintenance, and monthly physical inspections of the hardware itself.Projects included:• WTCPhila.org: Redevelopment in ASP.NET, added e-commerce, custom CMS, converted database from MS Access to SQLServer; CSS• Chinagrillmgt.com: Cold Fusion, XML, Flash, JavaScript, Cinema 4D, Poser 6, Illustrator, MS Access, Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Photoshop• Campusapts.com: Flash, HTML, PHP backbone, CSS• Philadelphia Department of Marketing & Tourism: Developed CD and DVD presentations using Flash, Adobe Director, Poser6, 3D Studio Max, Cinema 4D• Mcmcllc.com: Project was both designed and developed by myself. The front and back-end are PHP/MySQL driven, some minor Flash enhancements were used for aesthetics. This site interfaces with Unix/DB2 server to allow clients from multiple individually licensed brokers to access their accounts.

PublicAds, LLC was a highly specialized web development and marketing agency, catering to the online gaming and related industries. The primary language/platform was PHP in a LAMP environment, CSS, JavaScript, Flash/ActionScript, Lingo, Dreamweaver, Fireworks, little C/C++/C#, ImageReady, Poser 6, 3D Studio Max, Foxpro with a few projects developed in ColdFusion. Oftentimes, these utilized customized or custom designed middleware for secure transactions. I served as the project coordinator and development lead for each client in order to determine not only the function of each project, but the design and security needs as well.
