I've been a professional Musician and Instructor in the NYC area for over four decades. I've had the opportunity to perform with many great musicians from Dizzy Gillespie to Mickey Dolenz, playing many different styles along the way that have included Jazz, Afro-Cuban, Fusion, Rock and Blues.My long term playing jobs have included: Mongo Santamaria from 1982 to 1994. Willie Colón from 1986 to 1989 and the Ed Palermo Big Band from 1982 to the present.KoSA Drum Camp and Festival in Castleton Vermont from 2010 to 2015. In addition to leading and playing with ensemble classes, I accompanied all the artists in concert and master classes. Among the many great drummers I worked with were: Jimmy Cobb, Dennis Chambers, Chester Thompson, Alex Acuña and many others.
