Robert M. Risch, MD, FACEP, MBA is a Board Certified Emergency Medicine physician with 20 years of experience in level I and II trauma centers. Dr. Risch is the Chief Quality Officer with Integrative Emergency Services and is the Medical Director and Chief of the emergency department at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Grapevine, Texas, as well as a representative of the Baylor Scott & White Quality Alliance Best Care subcommittee for emergency medicine. In his role as Chief Quality Officer, Dr. Risch and the Emergency Medical Quality Program (EMQP) committee facilitate the identification and creation of best practices to accelerate knowledge translation and the growth of evidence-based medicine through system-wide clinical quality initiatives. Through data analysis and research in best practice, the EMQP committee at IES drives the execution of a high-performing medical staff and exemplary performance in quality and core metrics. Dr. Risch graduated from The University of Florida with a degree in microbiology and attended medical school at the University of South Florida in Tampa. He completed a residency in emergency medicine at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte and obtained an MBA from Auburn University.
