US Navy Veteran. I served from October 2003 until October 2007 as a Logistics Specialist on board the USS Seawolf. Originally based in Groton, CT until we moved to Bremerton, WA in June of 2007 where I assisted in the movement of all of the ships of hull material. While serving, I was the On Board Spare Parts, DLR (Depot Level Repairables), HAZMAT and Parts Storage Coordinator.After my Honorable Discharge in October of 2007, I took a contract job with MOOG Inc in Elma, NY through Superior Staffing in November 2007 until April 2011. I worked in the Shipping/Receiving/Crating Department in the Industrial Controls Division. I would receive and process new material as well as distribute items to the correct departments throughout the facility. I would also assist in rotating stock and processing old and obsolete materials. I would also work in the crating area to package and ship larger items for Domestic and Overseas shipments.After my contract was released in April 2011, I took a job with a Third Party Shipping Company named Cornerstone Logistics in Amherst, NY. I worked in the Business Development department as a Business Development Analyst. I would receive and process rate quotes from customers and upon rate approval, I would locate and set up trucking companies to retrieve the customers freight and have it delivered.In June of 2015, I took a job with the New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision where I currently work at Attica Correctional Facility in Attica, NY. I am required to maintain control, custody and safety of fellow officers, civilian staff and incarcerated individuals. I am to help maintain a correct count and location of incarcerated individuals throughout the facility.In May of 2021, I took a Logistics Specialist job with Integris Equipment where I over see all of the Shipping, Receiving, Warehousing and Inventory Control. I also do a majority of purchasing to replenish stock levels to ensure proper supply for customers.In June of 2024, I took a position with CPI Processing Systems in their shipping and receiving department.
