CurrentDevelops strategic work plans that outline U.S. EPA CHP Partnership (CHPP) goals and activities suited to meet the program’s market transformation initiatives, and leads implementation of CHPP activities (e.g., production of energy efficiency analyses, regulatory and policy analyses, white papers and fact sheets, MSExcel/MSAccess based calculation tools, presentations, web content, program data collection and analysis).Manages EPA’s ENERGY STAR CHP Award program. Oversees and facilitates all aspects of the flagship recognition program by completing energy balance and emissions evaluations of all applicant CHP systems; developing project case studies, press releases and web material; coordinates award venue logistics; refines and adjusts calculation methodology; and reports progress to EPA.Provides the CHPP with long term and quick-turnaround technical, regulatory and policy support. Serves as a contributing author and reviewer for white papers, fact sheets, information requests, presentations and program memorandums that address a variety of clean energy topics including CHP efficiency metrics, distributed generation and clean energy technologies, development of output-based emission standards, New Source Review, Boiler MACT requirements, GHG calculation methodologies, waste heat to power, and renewable portfolio standards.
