I have worked in the communications business since entering the USAF in 1974. I have been on console operating heavy terminals, digital communications links to tracking stations, and provided communications expertise for more than one military project. I worked my way up to managing teams of operations and maintenance engineers, helped to create a team of support engineers for a secure project, and provided systems integration, systems design, and configuration management for upgrades of current systems and integration of new projects. I have managed database systems for scheduling of satellite resources and control of realtime configuration of satellite systems.
