My experience spans higher education institutions, nonprofit/mission driven organizations, for-profit businesses, and government. I lead through a "shared responsibility-shared results" style that aligns individual talents, goals and aspirations to specific roles within the organization. I understand the 'big picture,’ the value of stakeholder buy-in, relationship management, and how strategy and planning will enhance the mission of the organization. My goal is always to listen with a desire to understand as I believe our strongest leaders surround themselves with smart, talented, highly effective people that provide sound advice in order to make informed decisions. As such, I'm passionate about empowering others to be the best version of themselves and skilled at bringing people together to instill a shared vision and to "make things happen." My 'hands-on' approach couples high standards and expectations with common sense, good judgment and good humor. Outside the office, I am a proud husband and father of four amazing kids. Watching each of them carve out their own unique paths in their careers fills me with pride and admiration. My wife’s career journey inspires me daily; her dedication, resilience, and growth are a testament to her strength and determination. I'm incredibly proud of her unwavering commitment to excellence and the impact she’s making. Golf is a lifelong passion, and my love for the game began as a caddie. Caddying instills a mindset of service and reinforces the value of helping others; this has been the cornerstone of my career. Service to others -- those less fortunate, constituents, students and stakeholders. A profile would not be complete if I didn't recognize our "man's best friend" Emmet, our English Cream Golden Retriever who brings joy and love to our lives each day.
