I am a highly experienced manager with a wide range of general and operations management exposure in a multi-national company. I spent 20 years working in a number of senior global management roles for the Linatex organisation, including working in UK, South Africa, Malaysia, China & Chile.Key activities at Linatex included being a member of the team that purchased and subsequently sold the Linatex business, setting up a manufacturing facility in China and a JV in Chile, managing all technology development and capital expenditure for the group and re-vitalising the South African business.I have a particular passion for Health & Safety. Whilst leading the global HSE team at Linatex, I oversaw the transformation of the HSE culture within the group such that it became a key element of business strategy and competitive advantage.Upon leaving the Linatex/Weir organisation in 2011, I set up my own consultancy business and have successfully completed assignments for international clients, including Weir Minerals China, Cabot Corporation, BSW Energy and Growth Asia.
