Was part of a small team that launched a very big product - Microsoft Learn, Microsoft's premiere learning destination. Served in many capacities to help launch, organize and normalize operations.- Earned a promotion for formally proposing and implementing a re-org allowing our team to embrace a contributor-based content creation model. This expanded our pool of available authors from just a handful to all of Microsoft. Incorporated ADCAR change management strategies and Six Sigma strategies for process improvement. Strong emphasis on inter-team collaboration.- Mentored dozens of content authors across many evangelism and product teams helping them author content effectively.- Authored some of the most popular and highest rated content on the platform including content related to C#, Azure Fundamentals, GitHub, and more.

Established and maintained a relationship with Microsoft's product and evangelism teams for 8 years creating hundreds of training modules for their tools, languages and APIs. As a result of my community involvement earned Microsoft's Most Valuable Professional - C# distinction three times. As of a few years ago, based on Microsoft's own metrics the content I created for them has been downloaded millions of times. Hired and managed up to 6 full-time employees as well as numerous part-time and contract employees for dozens of projects and initiatives. Built custom eCommerce, membership management, reporting, marketing software using the latest .NET technologies to manage the ongoing needs of 60,000 paying customers over 15 years. As a bootstrapped start-up, I've had to wear many hats including software developer, trainer, marketer, salesman, recruiter, manager, community evangelist, operations manager, and much more.
