Founded a new, startup general contracting firm. Successfully set up corporate structure and secured a general contractor’s B license in the state of California. Formulated the business and marketing plan for CAG. Developed the policies/procedures and manage all marketing, business development, customer relations, accounting, estimating, project management, and field operations. Implemented tracking procedures that allowed us to monitor, report, and manage our projects and internal systems to assure profitability and positive customer relations. Secured insurance, bonding, DUNS number, registered with CCR and with the SBA. Achieved self-certification for SBE, DSBE, ESBE and MBE small business status. Supervised all day to day, accounting, operations, customer relations and financial duties for CAG.
