I lead a team of 3 Data Analysts, 7 Data Engineers and a Data Architect in designing and developing out the Data Platform in Azure for LGRI.I have been lead on the Data Platform from it's conception, working with the Cloud Platform Engineers to get the Azure services set up.The Data platform currently consists ofADLS Gen2 (Data Lake)Azure File ShareDatabricksAzure SQL MI DB'sSynapseLogic & Function AppsADF (Azure Data Factory)And Azure DevOps for our code libraryWe are currently mainly working on centralising data onto the platform from all the disparate sources such as DB2 (mainframe & Linux), SQL Server, External web portals (API & SFTP), MS Access, Excel and flat files stored on the on premise LAN so we have one repository where the state of the data is fully understood and is conformed in a way that is easily consumable by the business.
