    In addition to pursuing retirement activities that include golf, fishing, hunting, and home improvement projects, I currently contract with the Wildlife Management Institute (WMI) to assist with Young Forest Initiative activities in Minnesota, and serve on the External Review Panel of the Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI) program.I bring to both of these activities over 36 years of experience in the MN Department of Natural Resources, most of it in the Division of Forestry where I served as the Deputy Director for over 14 years. During my last three plus years with the DNR I served as the departments manager of Strategic Land Asset Management.
