Re design Weetabix North America (WNA) network infrastructure, and server/domain configuration. Update technology at Petaluma, CA and Clinton MA facilities. Implement a number of change and support processes - Add the Kace Kbox for Help Desk & inventory, and SpiceWorks for tracking all hardware and doing analysis. Completed the installation of the ShoreTel VoIP phone system throughout North America, and increased WAN bandwidth to 3M. Completed the implementation of virtual servers using Xen for Petaluma and the Offsite facility. Currently doing PM to move IT to Clinton, MA. by June 29th,2012

I have been a member of PMI starting when I worked for Kaiser Permanente. I have been a PMP, but have not updated my certificate.

Redesign all of the IT systems into one fully integrated virtual web model. This includes the replacement of the accounting system (replaced with Great Plains) and consolidation of four different business systems. The final architecture is based on ASP.net and XML. (www.standardstructures.com, www.ssispec.com, ..). Manged the development of all new documentation for the company. Manged moving into 2 previously owned buildings and implementing a microwave link between the buildings.

Revamped all e-commerce components of the company and turned it into a significant profit center. Led the development of an entirely new main Website and co-branded sites. Instrumental in the selection of technologies for: web infrastructure, back end systems, and the use of interactive training and Customer Service products to improve the customer experience. Documented all of the business processes so that strategic plans could be put in place for improvements.

Demonstrated the business use of company Intranet to manage the technology component of Y2K which resulted in zero outages. Led the team that consolidated 380 Intranet Websites into four portal sites and significantly improved usability and value. As technical consultant for the design of the national Web infrastructure (Internet, Intranet, & Extranet), established the project plan for implementation and cost justification.Led a multi-disciplinary team of IT, Web, and international medical consultants in the development of a data collection and analysis tool used in the Republic of Georgia, Armenia, and India for assessing health facility needs. Consulted to Siezwa in South Africa on re-architecting their business and clinical systems. Led the team that implemented such projects as the first ERP system, CRM and Help desk, pharmacy inventory/returns system, and network equipment tracking system (using Intranet).Led a multi-disciplinary team of IT and medical professionals in the development of a complete Pre-term Birth Prevention system, including all new monitoring and infusion pump technologies. Led another team in the development of new national PC and server infrastructure.Led a staff of IT and engineering professional in selection of LAN, PC, communications, security, and software technologies adopted by the company. Led projects that worked closely with the Department of Technology Assessment in Washington D.C.Instrumental in development of the most complex clinical laboratory system in existence at that time. Led the team that created the first automated OR/anesthesiology scheduling and patient tracking system. Led a team in the development of the first real time clinic laboratory data system.

Design and implementation of manufacturing automation equipment. Sold commercial fillers, conveyor systems, check weighers, metal detectors, and other automation equipment. Worked in hundreds of factories throughout the 7 Western states.

Design and build: Hybrid manufacturing facility, super high speed data acquisition tape system using Newell & Orion drives, design parts of the NADS (Nevada Automated Data System) computer system, Verion data gathering computer, and testing systems for NADS equipment. Most of this work was done under contract with Lawrence Livermore Lab. Also submitted alternative energy proposals to ERDA for wind energy research. Did work on the Shiva project.
