While working in Inpatient, Residential, and Intensive Outpatient levels of care, Bob Tyler has been working in recovery since 1990. He currently serves as Compliance Officer at Los Angeles Centers for Alcohol and Drug Addiction (L.A. CADA) and founded STAT Sobriety Services to pursue his mission of helping people get sober who can’t afford rehab. He is also owner of Bob Tyler Recovery Services (consulting, addiction private practice, public speaking), is Past President of the California Association of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors (CAADAC), was a founding Board Member of the California Consortium of Addiction Programs and Professionals (CCAPP), and is currently on faculty at Loyola Marymount University (LMU) Extension in the Alcohol and Drug Studies Program there. He authored the EVVY Award-winning book, Enough Already! A Guide to Recovery from Alcohol and Drug Addiction, and has produced several educational DVD’s which are shown in over 1000 treatment centers across the country, including Craving and Relapse.
