An author, musician, speaker, life coach and mentor, Bob’s highest accomplishments are raising two daughters, Tesa and Elyse, two granddaughters, Nieves and Rainbow, and growing closer to his lovely bride of more than 30 years, Debbie.Bob served in the United States Air Force for almost 31 years, a dozen of those as a Chief Master Sergeant (E-9), a rank held by only one percent of the enlisted corps. He’s led literally thousands of enlisted troops and officers and has served as an advisor to several general officers. Bob is licensed to teach and mentor the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People/Families/Teens Facilitator, FranklinCovey’s What Matters Most Time Management, the Myers-Briggs Type Instrument and is a Certified FranklinCovey Coach. His commentary on various leadership and life skills articles has been published in newspapers throughout the world.Upon retirement from the Air Force he was selected from more than sixty applicants to serve as a course director/instructor for the USAF Academy’s Center for Character Development where he’s developed and led character development seminars for most of the 4,000 cadets at the Academy. He’s developed the basic character development course for freshmen cadets and has had an important part in developing character development courses for the rest of the cadets.His recent experience as an adjunct instructor in the University of Colorado at Colorado Spring’s Business School has allowed him to share his unique leadership experience with a very different audience, providing civilian students a different perspective than they would otherwise receive.Known as the Academy’s Ruggedly Handsome Chief, Bob Vasquez mentors everyone interested in listening and growing.
