Since graduation from The University of Auckland with a BE(Hons) and PhD in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, I have dedicated my working life to the field of power system commissioning. I have worked with multiple asset owners across New Zealand that include Transpower, Vector, Mercury, Genesis and Contact in providing asset maintenance and commissioning of project.I have gained membership to Engineering New Zealand, MEngNZ and obtained the Electrical Workers Registration Board (EWRB) licence as an Electrical Engineer (EE) allowing me to perform prescribed electrical work during commissioning.I enjoy learning about new advances in engineering around the world. I love learning about the universe and space travel, I enjoy power systems analysis using mathematical techniques and software programming.In my spare time, I enjoy growing mature by fathering two young children. I enjoy a family life that is fully involved with the children’s growth as it gives me a feeling of wholesomeness. I enjoy travelling the world during my holidays with my family. I love improving myself to be a more rounded person emotionally and intellectually. I am fully involved with my children’s growth by taking them to Chinese, swimming, football classes, and being involved as an adult helper in Keas, which is part of Scouting New Zealand.
