Bob Watson has been Chairman of parent company Hydrenesis, Inc. since 2018. Our mission, for all Hydrenesis companies, is to develop and commercialize new technologies that make food production, water quality, and life-in-general better/faster/cheaper/safer for the world’s inhabitants. We do that by introducing non-toxic technologies that optimize food resources, improve water quality, and enhance the human (and animal) condition. We already have non-toxic technologies that stop oxidation, kill bacteria, and eliminate algae better than any of the toxic solutions. These technologies alone address billions of dollars worth of acute problems across thousands of industries and animal habitats around the world, giving us an enormous opportunity for rapid growth. Hydrenesis companies include Hydrenesis Aquaculture, Hydrenesis Analytics, and Hydrenesis Delta Systems Manufacturing. In early 2022, Hydrenesis, Inc. partnered with a group of former Sea World marine park and life support systems experts to form the latest company, Hydrenesis Aquatics, Inc., which focuses on new technologies that enhance water quality and aesthetics for marine life and marine life habitats in commercial aquariums, marine parks, hobbyist aquariums, home aquariums, and display water fixtures (without the use of toxic chemicals). For the 20 years prior to the Hydrenesis ventures, Mr. Watson owned and operated a c-level strategy and angel-funding consulting firm (Watson Strategic, LLC / Watson & Watson, LLC / Sales Research & Development, LLC). In that capacity, he served on the boards of 33 companies and designed and managed 27 Reg D private offerings that enabled those founders to raise more than $73 million in early stage capital. Mr. Watson provided expert advice and leadership on board issues and complex strategic maneuvers, including how to create and execute successful funding programs, growth strategies, succession plans, M&A transactions, and business model transitions. He is considered by many to be one of the leading angel funding experts in America, and he is an expert in corporate structure, capital structure, offering structure, licensing strategies, and start up strategies that attract capital. Mr. Watson grew up in Orlando, graduating from Winter Park High School in 1972 and Columbia University in New York City in 1976. His early professional years were spent with Procter & Gamble in New York and J. Walter Thompson Advertising Agency in Chicago.
