Sold out to partner in 1990. Organised Australian leg of 1993 Lombard London to Sydney marathon rally. Organised Mobil 1 Round Australia Trial in 1995 to celebrate Mobil's centenary in Australia. Freelance journalism for Car Australia, Australian Auto Action and Unique Cars magazines. Returned to Holden in 1995 as contractor. Worked on projects for Holden Engine company, then became Chassis Section Engineer for Holdens Asia Pacific Engineering division. In 2000 moved to Holden main Chassis group to recalibrate Commodore suspension with revised rear suspension components. Finally worked as Chassis development engineer on the Holden Adventra, the first Australian designed AWD vehicle. Retired from engineering work in 2004, wrote autobiography and several other motor sport related books. Organised Red Centre to Gold Coast outback car rally in 2008.Still actively involved in historic rally driving and event organisation.Successful motor sport career includes Australian Rally Champion 1970, Victorian Rally Champion a record four times, winner of numerous International rallies. Inaugural inductee of the Victorian and Australian Rally Halls of Fame. Awarded Life Membership of the Confederation of Australian Motor sport in 2015. Show less
