It's 40 degrees outside and I find myself in the back of a u-Haul trailer cleaning up a mixture of kitty-litter and vegetable oil spilt from a deep fryer someone had failed to secure while moving...I was broke...busted...both financially and spiritually!I was about a week on the job and knew I wouldn't last another hour. I went to the manager, thanked him for the opportunity and turned in my standard issue orange u-Haul shirt and pen, hopped in my car and off I went. I knew there HAD to be a better way...I put on my best(and only) suit, took my last 20 bucks, put some gas in my car and grabbed a stack of resumes. I visited about 15+ dealers before anyone would even give me the time of day...then visited several more before a sales manager brought me in to his office and hired me on the spot. My first month in the business I delivered 45 cars and smashed every previous sales record ever held at the store. The manager saw something in me…and I saw something in the automotive industry…I had found my passion, I had found the path to financial freedom and an ever changing, challenging industry that I’ve been addicted to ever since!!Let the rest do whatever, while you do whatever it takes.
